Project Zero Waste Tadoba

Habitat conservation is crucial for wildlife protection, but increasing human activity and tourism generate significant waste, harming biodiversity. Plastic waste mixed with food attracts animals, leading to health risks and bio-magnification.

This project promotes a Zero-Waste lifestyle through the 5Rs—Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot. Our approach focuses on:

  • Sustainable Waste Management: Establishing solid waste disposal systems in buffer villages.
  • Eco-Friendly Livelihoods: Supporting upcycling centers and green businesses.
  • Reducing Plastic Use: Encouraging alternatives for residents and tourists.
  • Sustainable Tourism: Helping accommodations adopt eco-friendly practices.

By redesigning systems for minimal resource use and promoting recycling, we aim to create a cleaner, healthier environment while fostering responsible tourism and community engagement.
